7:30PM at Keysville Lutheran Church - Imposition of Ashes and Holy Communion - Pastor John preaching.

Palm Sunday - March 16 –

The Passion of Our Lord -Sunday School for all ages at 9:30AM - Worship with Holy Communion and the Passion reading from Saint Matthew at 10:30AM - Deacon Charley's Morning Message will be "That Proves It!"

Holy Thursday - March 20 -

Worship with Holy Communion at Grace UCC Church - 7:30PM,

with Pastor John preaching.

Good Friday - March 21 –

Service of Tenebrae at 7:30PM at Keysville Lutheran Church.

Easter Sunday - March 23 –  

 - Easter Sunrise Service at 6:15AM at Keysville Lutheran Church at 6:15AM, with Pastor John preaching, followed by a breakfast at Grace UCC Church.

 - Sunday School for all ages at 9:30AM, Festival Worship with Holy Communion at 10:30AM.

 

Inclement Weather Policy - If the Carroll County snow emergency plan is in effect, there will be no Sunday School classes or Church Service. Closure notifications will be announced by 9:00 a.m. on the following radio stations:

Westminster WTTR 1470 AM

Gettysburg WGTY 107.7 FM

Frederick WFRE 99.9 FM & WFMD 930 AM

Spring

  • Blood Drive (Mid-March): Donations given to the Baltimore/Chesapeake region blood bank.
  • Family Fun Night (April)

Summer

  • Vacation Bible School (June): Summer education for congregational and community children.                         
  • Picnic in the Park (August): A chance for the congregation to gather at Rocky Ridge Park and celebrate at the end of summer.

Fall

  • Rally Day (Early September): Celebration of the start of the Sunday School program each year.
  • Sloppy Sunday (Week before yard sale): Informal Sunday to prepare church for yard sale the following week.
  • Yard Sale (Early October): All proceeds benefit the Vacation Bible School and its pupils.
  • Blood Drive (Mid-October): Donations given to the Baltimore/Chesapeake region blood bank.
  • Church Camp Out (Saturday night before Halloween): Camp out and cook out with hay ride.

Winter

  • Christmas Decorating of the Church (Late November)
  • Cookie Baking by Youth (Late November)
  • White Gift Service (Early December):  All donated gifts go to residents of homes for the elderly and disabled.
  • Christmas Caroling (Mid-December)
