 2nd Annual Old-Fashioned Corn Fest
 In Apple Country

On Sunday, July 24, take a drive to the Historic Round Barn just 8 miles west of historic Gettysburg, PA, for an Old-Fashioned Corn Fest. The event will begin at 11 am with free entertainment provided. The Round Barn is located at 298 Cashtown Road, ½ mile off Route 30. Attendees can enjoy the Round Barn’s own homegrown, fresh from the fields corn-on-the-cob made the old-fashioned way: roasted or boiled in the husk over a wood fire. There will also be 1/2 BBQ chicken, pulled pork sandwiches, and chicken sandwiches available. Performing at the

event will be The Orchard Boys from Frederick, MD. The Orchard Boys have been delighting crowds since the early 1980's, combining traditional bluegrass with progressive for their own unique sound. Their philosophy is HAVE FUN!! More information is available at www.orchardboys.com.

The Historic Round Barn Market is open daily 9 am ­ 5 pm, May through October. The market, which is family owned and operated, offers fresh fruits and vegetables, always local in season, with corn and tomatoes grown on the farm. September and October the Barn offers their

specialty: APPLES and features one of the largest selection of varieties throughout the season and fresh apple cider. There is also a large selection of gifts, garden items, seasonal decorations and

specialty food items. There's always something new! This is a rare and awesome structure, one of only 3 remaining true round barns in PA, also referred to as a "barrel barn". The barn was built by the Noah Sheely family in 1914. This Historic site is featured on the Lincoln Heritage

Highway (RT.30) and is an Adams County Landmark. Visit the Historic Round Barn for a fun and interesting place for the whole family.
