Dear Walker,

Spring is here! Beauty surrounds us! Just around the corner is the Eighth Annual Michael L. and Douglas A. Wivell Memorial Walk. Please mark your calendar for Saturday, June 14, 2008. This year is even more special because we will also be celebrating Flag Day. It is fitting for us to honor the men and women who are serving in our armed forces. We have all been touched by their bravery and heroism. Come and join us in saluting our Soldiers and our flag.

On behalf of our family and all the youth sports programs that benefited from the generosity of so many, who, once again, contributed nearly $4,000.00 last year, we say THANK YOU!

We are hoping that you will choose to join us in continuing to support the athletic programs in the Emmitsburg and Thurmont communities. The success of the Fund is solely due to each walker and sponsor. Everyone is important!

Will you join in sponsoring the Walk for 2008? Remember if you are unable to attend you may mail your donation. Of course, we hope to see you!
