Young mothers and fathers who have had their education interrupted and would like to complete requirements for their high school diploma can pick up where they left off. Up-County offers the following programs in high school and adult education: Alternative High School courses, Flexible High School, Adult Basic Education (ABE) and General Equivalency Diploma
(GED).
Approximately
20 to 30 students go through the GED program each
year at Up-County. You can upgrade your job skills
in Up-County’s computer lab. Participants receive
employment training services that include computer
literacy, typing, advanced computer courses, and
other job readiness skills. You will also have
access to the Job Network and opportunities to
discuss career goals.
Participants who come to the
Center will find a wide range of recreational and
social activities available to them.
