Public Workshop
June 16, 2004

PRESENT: Mayor Hoover; Commissioners Joyce Rosensteel, Art Elder, Diane Walbrecker and William O'Neil, President. Also present were Donna Thompson and Dave Haller, Town Manager.

CALL TO ORDER

Commissioner William O'Neil, President of the Board of Commissioners, called the June 16, 2004 Budget Hearing to order at 5:30 p.m.

President O'Neil announced the need for a closed executive session following adjournment of this meeting as permitted by the Annotated Code of Maryland, State Government Article: Section 10-508 (a) Closed Meetings, Item 1 to discuss personnel matters. See attached announcement. The motion carried 4-0 in favor.

The final draft of the Fiscal Year 2004-5 Budget was presented for approval. Several budget workshops were held and all adjustments have been made.

PUBLIC COMMENT - none

MOTION: To accept the Fiscal Year 2004-5 Budget as presented. Motion by Commissioner Rosensteel and second by Commissioner Elder. VOTE: 4-0 in favor of the motion.
