Other Activity
- During the
Month of October, the P and Z staff has developed a new
permitting guide, to assist applicants in better
understanding the process of obtaining Emmitsburg Zoning
Certificates and Frederick County Building Permits (see
enclosure).
- In
October, the staff along with Mr. Haller and mayor
Hoover met with Maryland Department of Environment
Officials to discuss the status of MDE consent order and
provide a progress report on the Little Run Sewer
Project.
- In
October. the staff met with representatives of Buckeye
Development to review changes to a preliminary
annexation proposal presented to the Emmitsburg Planning
Commission in September 2005.
- In
October, the staff completed winterization of the Town
pool and is now preparing bid proposals for the 2006
season.
