PRE SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Preschool Paleontologists - Bring your little Paleontologist out to spend the afternoon making a dinosaur craft, learning about different dinos, and searching for dinosaur fossils.  Sure to be a great time for kids that love dinosaurs.
Ages:  3 - 5 years
Cost:   $10 per participant

Spring Clay Creation - Learn to use this clay like material called "fimo" and create your own animal magnet.  Whether it is a bee, cat bear or pig, you and your child will have fun while making a great craft for the refrigerator.
Ages:  3 - 5 years
Cost:  $10 for parent/child pair

Little Scientist -  Let your future scientist investigate and experience the wonderful world of science through hands-on projects in this 4-week program.  Explore the weather, investigate magnets, identify the five senses and much more.
Ages:  4 - 5 years
Cost:  $32 per participant
Tuesdays starting April 29
6:00 - 7:00 pm

Messy Masterpieces - Children can experience art through this 4-week hands-on class.  Create modern masterpieces while discovering colors, textures, and shapes.  Dress for a mess (old clothes) and bring a smock.
Ages:  3 - 5 years
Cost:  $35 per participant
Thursdays starting May 1
6:00 - 7:00 pm

Tee Ball Skills - Designed just for preschoolers to begin learning the fundamentals of tee-ball and teamwork.  Complete with skill stations and scrimmages.  Bring a glove for this 6-week program.  Fee includes a shirt.  Class will be held inside and outside depending on weather.
Ages:  3 - 4 years
Cost:  $40 per participant

Under the sea - Turn on your imagination, put on your "pretend" swimming trunks, and swim on over to this one-day program.  Enjoy crafts and activities centered around marine life and tropical locations
Ages:  3 - 5 years

YOUTH PROGRAMS

Art Club Series - Find out how to bring out your inner artist.  Each session will focus on a different style and technique of art.  All materials will be provided during each of these sessions.
Ages:  8 - 12 years
Drawing (two weeks)
Cost:  $20 per participant

Pastels (two weeks)
Cost:  $35 per participant

Print Making (two weeks)

Dino Draw - Learn the fundamentals of sketching as you draw your own dinosaur creation.  Bring it to life with watercolors.  All materials and equipment provided for this one-day program.
Ages:  6 - 9 years
Cost:  $15 per participant
Saturday - Sept. 9
10:00 - 11:30 am

Discovering Science - Kids get a chance to experiment early during this 4-week program.  Hands-on projects and experiments will help your child explain everyday scientific occurrences.
Ages:  6 - 8 years
Cost:  $25 per participant
Sundays starting April 20

TEEN & ADULT PROGRAMS

Acrylic Still Life Painting - While working with special table arrangements, learn the basics of setting up a still life painting with our experienced and talented instructor, Dorothea Barrick.  In this 2-day class, we will cover techniques such as under painting, brushstrokes, color and texture.
Ages:  12 years and older
Cost:  $65 per participant
Wednesday and Thursday May 28 & May 29  5:00 - 7:00 pm

Beginner Acrylic Painting - While working with special table arrangements learn the basics of setting up a still life painting with our experienced and talented instructor, Dorothea Barrick.  In this 2-day class, we will cover techniques such as under painting, brushstrokes, color and texture.

Painting flowers in Acrylic - While applying paint using brushes and a palette knife, watch a colorful and textured floral painting emerge on canvas.  Our experienced and professional instructor will help you every step of the way
Ages:  16 years and older
Cost:  $25 per participant
Saturday April 26 @ 9:30 - Noon

Spring Landscape Painting in Acrylic - Learn basic acrylic techniques while creating an impressionistic spring orchard painting with water reflections
Ages:  16 years and older

Full Court Frenzy - Advanced Basketball Skills -You can never practice too much!!  Take advantage of this 5-week basketball skills class and use it as a supplement to current practices.  Our experienced collegiate level instructor will focus on your individual need to work on lay-ups, free throws and other skills you might need to improve your game.  The drills and activities in this program are fast paced and upbeat.  Drills and instruction will teach skills that are crucial to playing at high levels
Ages:  13 - 18 years
Cost:  $32 per participant
Fridays starting April 28
Girls........6:00 - 7:00 pm
Boys.......7:00 - 8:00 pm

SUMMER CAMPS

Art Club at Emmitsburg -  Discover the inner artist in yourself by joining us for a week of art activities with our very experienced and knowledgeable instructor.  We will be covering certain techniques of drawing, painting and print making.
Ages:  10 - 14 years 
Cost:  $65 per participant
Monday-Friday 9am - Noon

July 14 - July 18

DROP IN SCHEDULE

Players of all abilities and levels are welcome to attend drop-in programs.  There is no formal instruction during any drop-in program.  All necessary equipment is provided.  All participants must sign a waiver and code of conduct agreement upon entering a drop-in program for the first time. ALL AGES  
Cost:  $2 per person per program per day.  For Family & Friends, a group of three or more in a family pays a flat $5 entrance fee.
