The United Methodist Women are having a sub sandwich sale to support their mission projects. Orders are due this Wednesday and subs will be ready for pickup on
Thursday, May 22nd from 4 - 7pm. Order forms are available in the Parlor.
Today we will begin accepting applications for Bible School. This year the theme is Rainforest Adventure. Bible school will be held here at Tom's Creek June 23
-27 from 6-8pm. Forms are located in the Parlor and also can be downloaded from our website.
Attention!!! Our High School Sunday School class currently does not have a permanent Sunday School teacher. Please prayerfully consider this opportunity to
serve God and your church by volunteering to fill this position.
Next Sunday during the 8:00am Service, the Teen Choir from Emmitsburg will be sharing their talents with us. During the 10:30am Service, we will have our normal
worship service including Pastor Judy's sermon, Show Me The Way To Go Home,
part 2. Our PB&J will also be playing during both services.
Volunteers Needed!! Volunteers are needed at Camp Manidokan on a weekly basis to provide leadership and supervision to campers. There are openings throughout
the summer for different age groups. For more information, contact Chris Schlieckert at (301) 834-7244 or
UMCOR is working with its partner, Church World Service to provide relief to thousands of people affected by tropical storm Nagirs, that slammed into the
largest city of Yangon. Thousands are dead and many more are without food, water, shelter and power. Please pray for the people. Also, next Sunday we will be taking up a special
offering to send to Myanmar Emergency Relief. If paying by check, code it to UMCOR Advance #3019674.
