1. See General Livestock Information.
2. All health certificates must be checked upon arrival and before animals are unloaded. 
3. A Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) issued within 30 days prior to the opening date of the Fair is required.
4. No goats showing clinical signs of contagious or infectious, or external parasitic disease, including foot rot and sore mouth, will be admitted to any show.
5. All show goats must be individually identified by an ear tag, tattoo, or unique physical attribute, and this identification must be listed on the health certificate.
6. An accredited veterinarian shall examine each goat, including goats consigned to a show. The veterinarian must prepare the original health certificate, AAI-13, and must state on the health certificate that he examined the goat and found no evidence of contagious, infectious, or external parasitic disease.
7. All goats must bear an official USDA/APHIS ear tag to be exhibited at the show. The only exceptions are those goats that have a registration tattoo and have been coded with a premise ID number.

General Rules
1. Space is limited. Entries will be accepted on a first-come first-serve basis. In the event that space for all entries is not possible, each exhibitor will be limited to 6 head.
2. Health papers need to accompany animals.
3. Judges reserve the right to rearrange the classes according to number of entries.
4. No market animal may be dual entered as a breeding animal for any species..
5. Entries open to anyone residing in Pennsylvania.
6. The Goat Entry Form can be found at the back of the Premium Book or on the Premium Book page on the web site at www.southmountainfair.com and must be returned to the Dept. 6 chairperson by August 1.
