1. Exhibits will be accepted on Sunday August 16, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Monday August 17, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. or the General Entries Registration Form may be used if mailed by August 1. The General Entries form can be found at the back of this book or on the web site at www.southmountainfair.com.
2. All pictures must be framed and PROPERLY WIRED FOR HANGING. Frames may be sizes 5x7 up to 11x14 only.
3. Exhibitors may enter one photo per class up to a maximum of 10 photos per exhibitor. No photos may have previously been exhibited at the Fair. Professional photographers are not eligible to enter any classes except the Professional Portfolio class.
4. Professional Portfolio exhibitors must submit 5 framed photos, properly wired for hanging, from any of the classes, one per class. A professional is anyone who in the last year, has taken commissions to do photography and/or earned money for their photography other than prize money.
5. If a professional enters a class other than the professional portfolio class, at the discretion of the judges, they may be eliminated from the contest and will forfeit any prizes given.
6. Exhibits will be released to exhibitors on Sunday, August 23, 2009 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. No prize money will be awarded for exhibits removed in violation of this rule.
