June 8: Fried Chicken & Country Ham Dinner 12:00-5:00 p.m. Menu includes: mashed potatoes, gravy, succotash, candied carrots, fresh lettuce salad, rhubard sauce, apple sauce, rolls and cake. Ice tea anc coffee. Prices: adults - $13; under 12 - $7; under 5 - free; carry-outs - $14. Fancy Table.

July 21: Friends Creek Band will play in back of St. John's at 6:30 p.m. We will provide hot dogs, drinks and cookies, as well as a sno-ball machine. There will be an auction during intermission featuring home-made pies, cakes, and plants. Please join us for a fun-filled evening - bring a lawn chair - there will be a tent available for shade.

August 10: Vacation Bible School from 9:00-2:00 p.m. The theme this year is "Tell it on the Mountain, Where Jesus Christ is Lord". Kindly pre-register by July 31st by calling Viola at 301-418-1760.


November 3: The Blue Grass Chapel Band will play at St. John's at 7:00 p.m. We will be serving cookies and punch. This is a well-known local band and will be an evening of great listening enjoyment.

November 28: Annual Thanksgiving Dinner 11a.m.-4p.m.

December 7: Christmas Bazaar & Indoor Yard Sale
