Civil War Reenactors Auction A New Website!

The Shenandoah Alliance is pleased to invite you all to the 145th Battle of Chancellorsville which will be held on August 29th through the 31st.

With the great success of 145th Antietam event held in September of 2007, we had so many requests to put on another national event on the same site on Loudoun Heights on Bill Raymond's property.

This event will be of the same format that being a non-spectator, 2000 re-enactor limit.
All re-enactors and umbrella groups are welcome to attend. Bill Raymond will be building a plank road reproduction on the property to enhance the event.

This property is a re-enactors dream with period buildings, rail fences, stone walls, breastworks, and of course the road just built for the Antietam event. We used the road in two of the scenarios at that event, once as the sunken road and once as the Hagerstown Pike in the other. The possibilities are endless for scenarios on this site due to terrain and other features. As many of you have heard the site is absolutely beautiful and just perfect for a Civil War re-enactment.

In the coming months we will be putting together some really great battle scenarios from the Chancellorsville battle that we are sure will please all that attend. We are planning many civilian activities as well so the whole family can come and enjoy themselves. We have invited the 20 sutlers that attended this year back for next year's event. The Shenandoah Alliance commanders General Greg Bair of PACS and General Ed Kelley of Birneys Division. will command the event.  The bottom line is you can't miss this one! We promise a spectacular event. Updates will be coming soon as plans develop bookmark this page and check back often.
