Remembering Royers

New Forest Society  Plant Trees

Kindergarteners from Emmitsburg Elementary School helped The New Forest Society of northern Frederick County to plant trees in celebration of Arbor Day.  The students visited New Forest Society’s grow out station on Old Frederick Road to plant River Birch trees into pots which will eventually be transplanted along stream beds as buffers.  Full Story
