Entered the service as private Company C November 2, 1862. Promoted to Second Lieutenant of  Company A, on January 1, 1863. Promoted to First Lieutenant on March 11, 1864. Promoted to Captain, February 1, 1865. Mustered out of service on June 28, 1865.
