Roster of Company B, 21st Pennsylvania Cavalry

Roll of Company B, 21st Pennsylvania Cavalry. Eighth Corporal Witherow D. Horner was the son of the author's great uncle. He was born March 19, 1842, volunteered in Co. B, and served until the close of the war. He was wounded five days before Lee's surrender, and was confined in the hospital at Washington for four months. He went to Belle Plaine, Kansas, in 1878, and died there. Roll of Company B, 21st Pennsylvania Cavalry. Number 30, Private Theodore B. Horner, was the brother of the author's great-grandfather, born April 17, 1844; married November 18, 1880 to Jennie Hesson of Harney, Maryland; died June 4, 1901. Number 52, G. Washington Sandoe, was the first Union Casualty before the battle of Gettysburg.
