Carroll Valley set to celebrate July 4

(6/26) Corn is not the only thing that is poppin' on July 4th in Carroll Valley! All are welcome to spend their Independence Day in commemoration of the nation’s birthday as Carroll Valley Borough will once again be holding a July 4th Celebration at Carroll Commons Park.

As always, the Borough goes all out for the annual free admission celebration and this year’s 18th annual free July 4th Celebration is no exception featuring live music in concert, food trucks, and of course vibrant fireworks.

The borough’s 18th annual 4th of July festivities has only grown in popularity as the premier community festival.

The event opens at 4 p.m. with the food and beverages trucks; the concert starts at 6:30 p.m. and the fireworks are scheduled at 9:45 p.m.

This year, the festivity welcomed the return of esteemed rock and roll 1980’s tribute band, The Reagan Years.

Since 1996, the renowned musicians have taken crowds by storm through performances of classic pop rock, new wave, and heavy metal hits of the 1980’s.

This year’s festivities will offer a multitude of food trucks including desserts and adult beverage vendors to ensure no one goes hungry.

Family fun will be available for everyone including games and free children’s inflatable amusements. Notably this year, the borough has invested in an actual dance floor for all ages to cut the rug.

Delicious vendors include What'z Popping Kettle Corn, Banjo's BBQ, Tucker’s Pucker, Shuman’s Concessions, Mac Stack, Bricker’s Famous French Fries, and NY Halal Gyros.

Dough and Arrows, gourmet ice cream and edible cookie dough vendor will also bring along its mobile axe throwing entertainment.

To those 21 and older, be sure to bring your valid identification for the spectacular alcohol vendors of Michaux Brew Company, Lake House Distilling Company, Rough Edges Brewing, and 1623 Brewing Company.

Parking will be available at Carroll Commons as well as Ski Liberty Resort with a free shuttle to the park.

Carroll Valley’s claim to fame is still dubbed as the best fireworks show in the tri-state area and the always anticipated fireworks display launched over the community from atop Liberty Mountain, will commence after dark. Be sure to bring your family, your friends and your neighbors and spend an evening of fun-filled activities at Carroll Valley Commons!

In a commitment to continually being good neighbors and celebrate safely, everyone is asked to utilize common sense while viewing, including staying off private property and not blocking roadways.
