In this seminar you’ll learn techniques and guidelines for composing, exposing, and post-processing panoramic and landscape photography. These two-week dance workshops are great for all levels of interest, from a fun recreational-style dance program to a pre-professional dance intensive! Highlighting each class: a high-energy dance combination incorporating styles you’ve seen on the hit TV show “So You Think You Can Dance.” You’ll also learn classical ballet technique with a focus on flexibility, body placement, and graceful movement. **Colored Pencils**
Using Colored Pencils on Black and Other Dark-Colored Surfaces
Tuesdays, June 5-26, 9:30-11:30 a.m.

Colored pencil drawings are traditionally used on white or light, neutral-colored papers. But some subjects are much more effective against very dark backgrounds, and those backgrounds can be difficult (and labor-intensive!) to achieve with colored pencil. In this class we’ll explore key techniques for using colored pencil on black and very dark-colored surfaces, to keep colors true and luminous. The class will be geared to students of all levels of experience.  A materials list will be provided.
