Open Studio Colored Pencil
Thursdays, October 4-25, 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

OS Colored Pencil
If you’ve learned the basics of working in colored pencil and/or watercolor pencil, take your drawing skills to the next level in this class. Bring your in-progress work—or your ideas and reference photos for a new composition—and you’ll learn how to put your skills together to make a painting that’s uniquely yours. Nicaraguan Primativista Painting

Primativista
Explore Nicaraguan culture through the country’s traditional “primativista” painting style. Known for bright colors heightened almost to the point of surreality, primativista paintings typically depict landscapes, with villages, people, and animals in the foreground. Painters of all levels are welcome. A materials list will be provided.
