Thin Crust Pizza at Home Monday, January 14, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Class

Forget the fancy pizza stone. Reach for the
largest cast-iron skillet in your kitchen and
get the home-baked pizza crust you’ve always
wanted. Learn this and other insider tricks as
you transform even the humblest ingredients into
the best home-baked pizza you’ve ever made.

Cajun-Creole Cuisine Monday, January 21, 5-8 p.m.
Cajun-Creole cuisine is diverse and richly
flavorful, arising from the rustic, provincial
French cooking adapted by the Acadians to
Louisiana’s native ingredients. Learn to prepare
shrimp creole—spicy and peppery (but not too
hot!), filled with the flavors of the region,
and studded with big, juicy, fresh shrimp and
served over fluffy rice. For dessert, we’ll
prepare Cajun-country bread pudding with rum
sauce and Chantilly cream. This will be a dinner

You know how to roll the standard sushi roll.
Here’s your chance to learn to prepare more
advanced sushi rolls, like inside out rolls,

Once and Done Lasagnas and Casseroles Thursday, January 31, 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Use natural ingredients, fresh herbs, and olive
oil as your base for delicious, heart healthy
one-dish meals. Get your casserole ready ahead
of time, then simply pop it in the oven when
you’re ready. On the menu:
spinach-portabella-mushroom lasagna, chicken and

Drawing with Charcoal Tuesdays, January 15 & 22, 12:30-3:30 p.m.
Charcoal is easy to apply and remove, making it
a versatile and forgiving medium. In this class
you’ll draw from a still life of your choice as
you learn shading and blending techniques, value
studies, and textural marks. A materials list

Nature Printing Tuesdays, January 22 & 29, 6-8 p.m.
Learn how to make beautiful collages and
notecards from images of leaves and other plant
material. Using supplied inks and rollers,
you’ll create unique works of art—there’s so
much you can do with these techniques, just use

Watercolor for Everyone Wednesdays, January 23-February 27, 9:30-11:30
a.m.
Here’s your chance to explore a variety of
watercolor styles and techniques—wet on wet, wet
on dry, painting on a slick surface, and
pouring. You’ll practice your new skills as you
develop and complete a painting from start to
finish! A materials list will be provided.

Terrariums and Indoor Landscape Trays Saturday, January 26, 10-11 a.m.
When the weather is too awful for gardening,
it’s time to bring the natural world inside. In
this seminar you’ll learn how to design,
construct, and maintain a miniature living
forest or desert landscape in a terrarium or on
a tray. Makes a unique and charming centerpiece

Organizing Your Digital Photographs

Do you have photo libraries spread out in
different places without an idea as to where
everything is located? In this class
you'll learn how to use Photoshop Organizer--as
well as how to import, tag, and group your photo
library so that your images are easily

Focus on Photography Friday, January 18, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Photography is both an art and a science. This
“back-to-basics” class is designed to help you
brush up on key principles of photo composition
as you expand your knowledge of digital cameras.

Memoir Workshop Saturday, January 19, 1-3:30 p.m.
Maybe you’ve only got the beginnings of an idea.
Or maybe you’ve spent years jotting down notes
and memories. Maybe you’ve even taken a memoir
class. Whatever path you’ve taken, you’ve got a
few pages of text and would like some feedback.
Join us for this afternoon workshop, during
which we’ll read each other’s pieces and offer

Tuesdays, January 22-February 26, 7-9 p.m.
You’ve waited long enough! This class offers a
practical way for adults to learn to strum and
play guitar in a low-stress environment. You’ll
learn basic chords, transposing, strumming, easy
guitar theory, guitar care and maintenance, as
well as a brief history of the instrument and
the people who’ve made it popular. Bring your

Dance Your Way to a New You Tuesdays, January 22-March 12, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Dance your way to fitness! This class is
designed for women who want to explore many
disciplines of dance, including elements of Yoga
