Experience the Best of Broadway Here in Gettysburg

Tickets to a Broadway show not part of your financial plan? You can take a tour of American musical theater without leaving Gettysburg in our Best of Broadway class series. Instructor Mary George has decades of experience as musical director for local Broadway productions, and she’s designed each series of three classes to explore a different example each week of the best Broadway has to offer—past and present—using recorded scores of original casts, scenes from movie versions, live performances by guest artists, and best of all, a chance to sing along with your favorite songs from the show! It’s the next best thing to having an orchestra seat—and a lot easier on the budget!

Writing Workshop

A writing workshop is an excellent opportunity to share your piece with fellow writers who will provide gentle, constructive feedback so you can fine-tune your writing and take it from “a piece” to “a masterpiece”! Please provide a short piece of your work prior to the start of class.
